OnlyF is a subscription platform that is mainly used to create pornographic content or for sex workers to promote their videos and photos. The platform has grown exponentially, especially during the pandemic, as it has close to 130 million registered users and has continued to grow in recent years. However, the subscription service has been at the center of controversy.
Last year, OnlyF announced that it would discontinue porn, citing the controversy surrounding children’s use of the platform and the financial difficulties it was facing. In the end, however, this decision was not upheld.
A video has gone viral on TikTok, generating debate about the use of the platform and its impact on the lives of users. Genesis Sarabia is a model who decided to create her OnlyF account in July 2021. After a few months, she began to feel that her surroundings were judging her from people she knew and even strangers.
Genesis starts producing content from her original saved photos of her. About to celebrate a year on the platform, people begin to recognize her and ask for explicit content: “I live in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, it’s very small, so a small town, a big hell,” said the model.
Sarabia Sarabia condemns the persecution of her by strangers. For example, when she asked about Uber or food, people told her that she had bought the content and that they knew her: “I asked for Uber and they told me not to pay them, but to show them the content,” she said. She also, in public, says she feels surrounded by people who judge her, about her life and the way she earns money.
The model affirms that another problem arises at the family level, because when parents find out that their son or daughter is on stage, they may have a negative reaction: “My parents don’t know, and I pray they don’t find out.” ,” she said.
