Police have identified the victim of a homicide who was found in an East Preston parking lot in August.

Halifax District RCMP said Barry Angus Studley, 47, of Middle Sackville was found dead inside a van Aug. 30.

The body was found after officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked behind a strip mall at about 6:45 p.m.
