Dante Gholston Death and Obituary, 23-year-old man killed in Thursday Fatal Montgomery Shooting
A 23-year-old man has been identified as the latest homicide victim in Montgomery.
According to Montgomery Police Maj. Saba Coleman, the victim has been identified as Dante Gholston of Montgomery.
The shooting happened Thursday at 12:25 a.m. in the 6000 block of Woodley Circle, which is located near Macedonia Drive. At the scene, officers found Gholston, who had been fatally shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details of the investigation have been made available for public release.

CLARIFICATION: Initially, police indicated the shooting took place on Macedonia Drive. This has since been updated to reflect the shooting happened on Woodley Circle, which is near Macedonia Drive.
