It is with great sadness that we farewell Bob Blyth, former Chair of SCAPE Public Art, who passed away peacefully at Bethesda Rest Home on Friday September 9, 2022, aged 78 years.
Bob will always be remembered for his significant contributions to public art and SCAPE. As Chair, he guided SCAPE through some of the toughest times, including the Christchurch and Canterbury earthquakes.
Bob’s cause of death has never been made public. We pray that may God grants those mourning this death and courage to carry on. Losing a beloved one is one of the most difficult feelings on earth. Our thoughts and prayers are with those passing through a difficult time, caused by this death.
A funeral service for Bob will be held at the Transitional (Cardboard) Cathedral, 234 Hereford Street, Central Christchurch, on Thursday September 15, 2022 at 10.30am followed by a private cremation.
Little acts such as tributes and prayers can go a long way to heal the family of their loss and remind them the world still loves them.
Rest in peace Bob.
