Franci Swanepoel Death and Obituary, South African actress Franci Swanepoel is Dead, Cause of Death

Franci Swanepoel is a South African actress best known since 2005 for her role as Toeks Joubert on the M-Net soap opera Binneland (previously known as Binnelanders and Binneland Sub Judice).

Franci was born in Johannesburg and studied at Hoerskool Linden. She grew up in the entertainment industry and has performed in radio plays since she was five, including Leon van Nierop’s Stralerjakkers.

Her television career began in 1980 with a starring role in Stephen Powell’s Mtunzini Spa. It was followed by PG du Plessis’ role as Gesie in Koöperasisories; and roles in Jan Scholtz’s Desert Flower and Somebody to Love.

After graduating from the Acting Department at Stellenbosch University, she switched careers as a presenter, reading news on kykNET and hosting shows like Swerftyd and Fiesta (which she also produces).

She is also a continuity presenter for SABC2.

Francie has also had roles in critically acclaimed dramas such as The Strikers and Siener in Swartzkap.
