Jamie Adams Death and Obituary, Retired Sumter County Sheriff Jamie Adams is Dead, Cause of Death

Jamie Adams, Retired Sumter County Sheriff, has passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 15, 2022, in the early morning hours. Circumstances surrounding his sudden demise have not been made known to the public at the time of filing this report. Sheriff Adams served the citizens of Sumter County from 1981 to 1996, with 4 terms as Sumter County Sheriff.
