
Pat Mackin Death and Obituary, Saxophonist Pat Mackin is Dead, Cause of Death
Pat Mackin has passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 9, 2022, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He died after a long battle from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. He had been fighting an incredible battle since his car accident almost 8 years ago.
“Pat was a mentor and friend to so many. Members of GBF have shared the stage with Pat over the years. His talent was unmatched. He played with countless bands over the years such as Daisy Dillman, Doug Maynard, Lamont Cranston, Northcoast, TC Jammers, Mick Sterling and the Stud Brothers, JB and the Routine as well as numerous recording projects.”
We ask that at this time, you allow the family to take the appropriate and needed time, to make preparations and grieve as family.
We ask that you call ahead, to the family to respect this time of bereavement instead of just dropping in or passing by the family home. All official arrangements, will follow at a later date.
Friends, colleagues, officials and veterans are sending their condolences and tributes to the family in respect of his death. He will greatly be missed by everyone.
