Rapper PnB Rock was shot and killed while dining with his girlfriend at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles.
The “selfish” rapper was pronounced dead at a Los Angeles-area hospital on Monday, minutes after the shooting.
TMZ reports the story…PnB Rock was shot and killed Monday afternoon while dining with his baby mom, IG model Steph Sibounheuang, at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant. Sources linked to the restaurant told us that the gunman appeared to have targeted PnB during the robbery…he posted a video of himself wearing expensive jewellery earlier in the day.
The suspect remains at large. We were told there was surveillance footage that could help police identify him.
PnB Rock moved from Philadelphia to Los Angeles after signing with Atlantic Records following their 2014 debut mixtape. His stage name refers to a street corner in Philadelphia where he grew up, Pastorius and Baynton.
Over the years, PnB Rock has collaborated with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Chance the Rapper, Wiz Khalifa, 2 Chainz, Kodak Black, Young Thug and A Boogie wit da Hoodie.
In addition to his numerous mixtapes, PnB Rock has released two studio albums… 2017’s Catch These Vibes and 2019’s TrapStar Turns PopStar.
PnB Rock leaves behind two daughters, Milan and Xuri, whom he shares with Steph.
He is only 30 years old.
