Vanessa Cross Death and Obituary, 31-year-old Pregnant woman killed in Wednesday Deadly Marion shooting
31-year-old Vanessa Cross has been identified as the victim of a deadly shooting Wednesday night on Wallace Circle in Marion, according to Marion County Deputy Coroner Jim Gray.
Gray said Cross was pregnant and her family has indicated that she was eight months into her pregnancy.
He added an autopsy is being performed to determine a specific cause of death.
Marion Police Chief Tony Flowers said he’s working to gather more information and will release a statement later Thursday afternoon.
