Chicago police said several people were shot in Washington Park on Tuesday night, but the exact number of victims was unclear.

Ambulances took several people to the University of Chicago Hospital, CPD spokesman Tom Ahern said. Her condition is currently unknown. Ambulances took the four people to the hospital, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

The Chicago Police Department is expected to provide an update soon.
